1. Purpose and Scope
This Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP”) defines the rules and restrictions that apply to the use of all products and services provided by Sayob.com (“Sayob,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). The goal of this policy is to ensure a secure, stable, and lawful operating environment for all customers.
This AUP applies to all users of Sayob services, including hosting, domains, email, and related infrastructure, whether used for personal or business purposes.
2. General Conduct
Users must use our services responsibly, lawfully, and in accordance with this AUP, the Terms of Service, and applicable law. You agree not to engage in any behavior that could damage, disrupt, or degrade our network, infrastructure, or reputation.
We reserve the right to investigate any activity that violates this AUP and to take immediate action, including suspension or termination of your services.
3. Prohibited Activities
3.1 Illegal and Malicious Use
The following activities are strictly prohibited:
- Hosting, promoting, or distributing content that violates criminal law (e.g., hate speech, defamation, incitement, or glorification of violence).
- Distribution of malware, viruses, trojans, phishing tools, or spam.
- Unauthorized access (“hacking”) attempts to any system, network, or data.
- Fraudulent activities, identity theft, or deceptive practices.
- Hosting, transmitting, or linking to child sexual abuse material (CSAM) or any exploitative content involving minors.
- Using our services in violation of export control or sanctions laws.
3.2 Intellectual Property and Copyright
You must not use our services to infringe upon copyrights, trademarks, patents, or other intellectual property rights. You are solely responsible for ensuring that all content hosted under your account complies with applicable IP laws.
Upon receiving a valid copyright infringement notice (e.g., DMCA or EU-equivalent), Sayob may remove or block the affected content and, if necessary, terminate the account.
4. Resource Usage
All users must use server resources (CPU, RAM, storage, bandwidth) fairly and within the limits of their hosting plan. The following actions are prohibited without prior written approval:
- Running resource-intensive background processes that disrupt shared systems.
- Using hosting accounts as backup repositories or file distribution networks.
- Operating cryptocurrency mining, torrent seeding, or other high-load applications on shared plans.
We monitor resource usage and may temporarily throttle, suspend, or move accounts to suitable plans when fair-use limits are exceeded or the stability of the platform is affected.
5. Content Restrictions
You are fully responsible for all content hosted under your account. The following content types are prohibited:
- Illegal, offensive, or defamatory material.
- Hate speech, harassment, or discrimination based on race, religion, gender, nationality, sexual orientation, disability, or other protected characteristics.
- Promotion or sale of weapons, illegal substances, or counterfeit goods.
- Adult content that violates youth protection laws applicable in the user’s jurisdiction.
- Any content that violates privacy, copyright, or the rights of third parties.
Sayob reserves the right to remove or block access to content that violates this AUP or any applicable law without prior notice and to notify relevant authorities when required by law.
6. Security Obligations
Customers must implement appropriate technical and organizational security measures, including but not limited to:
- Keeping all installed software (CMS, plugins, themes, libraries) up to date.
- Using strong, unique passwords and enabling two-factor authentication where available.
- Regularly backing up data and storing backups securely.
- Restricting and monitoring privileged access to accounts and servers.
Any attempt to gain unauthorized access to other accounts, servers, or networks—whether within Sayob or externally—will result in immediate suspension and may lead to criminal or civil proceedings.
7. Reporting Violations
If you become aware of abuse, vulnerabilities, or violations of this AUP, please report them immediately to our abuse team:
Provide the relevant details (affected domains, timestamps, evidentiary logs, screenshots). We investigate reports promptly and will cooperate with law enforcement or other competent authorities when legally required.
8. Enforcement and Consequences
Violations of this AUP may result in one or more of the following actions, at our sole discretion:
- Verbal or written warning.
- Temporary suspension of affected services.
- Permanently terminating the account and deleting hosted data.
- Immediate removal or blocking of illegal or infringing content.
- Refusal of future business relationships.
- Disclosure to competent authorities and cooperation with investigations.
- Recovery of costs, damages, and reasonable legal fees resulting from the misuse.
For severe or repeated violations we reserve the right to charge administrative or investigation fees to offset the costs incurred by Sayob.
9. Liability and Indemnification
You are fully liable for any damages, claims, or losses arising from the misuse of our services under your account. You agree to indemnify and hold Sayob.com, its affiliates, employees, and partners harmless from any claims, liabilities, losses, damages, and reasonable legal fees arising from your violation of this AUP or any applicable law.
Sayob shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from enforcement actions taken under this AUP, to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law.
10. Modifications to the Policy
We may revise this Acceptable Use Policy from time to time to reflect changes in law, technology, or business operations. Updated versions will be posted at Acceptable use Policy.
Material changes will be communicated via email or customer dashboard notifications at least 14 days prior to taking effect when reasonably practicable. Continued use of our services after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.

To maximize legal protection, we recommend:
- Linking this AUP clearly with your Terms of Service and Privacy Policy in the footer and during checkout.
- Requiring an explicit acceptance checkbox in the signup/checkout flow for AUP, Terms of Service, and Privacy Policy.
- Providing a German language version for German customers and keeping both language versions synchronized.
- Documenting and retaining evidence of notices and enforcement actions for legal and compliance purposes.
